Food Drive & Postcard Party
Both the federal and Ohio governments are shorting our food banks just when tariffs are likely to make it even harder to buy groceries. Stop by Room B at the Tremont branch of the UA Public Library from noon to 1:30 pm on April 24th to drop off shelf-stable foods (cans, boxed, etc.) and other necessities (toothpaste, diapers, toilet paper, etc.).
While you are there, write some postcards to federal and state officials asking them to fund SNAP and provide food banks with support to meet the need. We will have pens, messages, postcards and some stamps. If you would like to bring postcard stamps, that would be helpful.
