The Upper Arlington and Northwest Columbus 2010 Coordinated Campaign Summer Kickoff Party will be held Sunday, Aug. 22, 3-5 p.m. at 1135 Middleport Drive, Columbus 43235. Ellen Carol Jones and Morris Beja are hosting the kickoff.

Friends, family and neighbors are welcome to meet with Rep. Ted Celeste, 24th District 24, and Rep. John Patrick Carney, 22nd District. Greg Turner, Ohio Democratic Party, will explain how he works with Organizing for America. U.S. Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy, 15th District, may also be attending.

President Obama will be in Columbus on Wednesday, Aug. 18, to raise funds for deserving Democratic candidates up and down the ticket this November. The Tea Party is planning a huge rally to oppose his policies. In response, we need to show our support for the president!

Help make signs on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Then march Wednesday morning.

Join Rep. Ted Celeste and John Griffin from the Ohio Department of Development at this open town hall meeting on the Ohio Third Frontier ballot issue. Ask questions, share your thoughts, and make your voice heard.

Issue 1 is a statewide ballot measure that would authorize renewal and continuation of the highly successful Ohio Third Frontier (OTF) program. OTF is a bipartisan visionary public-private partnership that has created 55,000 permanent jobs since 2002.
