During this election year, it's particularly important to share the some of the achievements of the Obama administration, and when we talk about what separates a Democratic administration from a Republican one, there's no greater difference than how the poor are treated.

The Library Levy will be on the ballot on March 6, 2012. The most important thing to know about the proposed levy is that it's not a tax increase. Homeowners will continue to pay the same tax rate for the library levy as they currently do.

The most important thing UAPA members can do to change the politics of obstruction in Washington is to regain the 15th Congressional seat for a Democrat. The original redistricting map had the 15th as a snake-shaped monstrosity that was only 43% Democratic—a no-win situation. The compromise redistricted 15th is now 47% Democratic. And with President Obama on the ticket, the 15th is in definite play.
Upper Arlington Progressive Action (UAPA) is a grassroots political action committee based in Upper Arlington, a conservative suburb of Columbus, Ohio. UAPA supports Democratic and progressive candidates and causes, and is entirely funded by donations from supporters. UAPA is run and governed solely by volunteers.
