The Executive Committee of Upper Arlington Progressive Action is endorsing Jenny McKenna for reelection and Liz George Stump and Sumia Mohamed for election to the Upper Arlington School Board.

The Executive Committee of Upper Arlington Progressive Action has voted to endorse John Kulewicz for reelection and Heidi Munc and Andrej Rotter for election to Upper Arlington City Council.

The Upper Arlington Progressive Action (UAPA) Board recently voted to endorse two candidates for the two seats available on the UA School Board. The selections were made based on responses to a set of ten questions (below) sent to all candidates. Neither Lou Sauter nor Liz Easton responded to our questions.

We recommend Nidhi Satiani be elected and Carol Mohr be reelected.

There have been multiple debates between Presidential hopefuls in advance of Ohio's Primary on March 17th, but did you know that there are other more local primaries? Two Democrats are vying to unseat Steve Stivers in Congressional District 15 and five want to face off against Stephanie Kunzie in State Senate District 16. Take the time to meet them and hear what they hope to accomplish. We have two upcoming opportunities:

Along with a number of at large members, every ward in Franklin County is entitled to a representative on the Executive Committee of the Franklin County Democratic Party (FCDP).

Of the seven wards in Upper Arlington, Wards 4 and 5 will become vacant in 2020. We at UAPA want UA to be fully represented in the councils of the county party, so we encourage YOU to consider running for one of these seats.

During the 2017 City Council election, postcards with gutter level attacks on several candidates were sent to nearly everyone in UA. The funders of the PAC that sent them were unknown until after the election, but the treasurer of record was Angela Lanctot who is currently running for Council. We are publishing the following in the hope that last minute sleazy attacks on candidates will not reappear this year.
